The short version

SongSketch does not send your music anywhere. Projects are stored locally in your browser with IndexedDB. There are no accounts, analytics, advertising trackers, third-party fonts, or remote samples.

Data on your device

Your project title, notes, pitch curves, drum pattern, tempo, and sound choice stay in browser storage until you clear site data. JSON, MIDI, and HTML exports are files you choose to download and control.

Network access

The app downloads its own files from this site and caches them for offline use. Hosting infrastructure may keep standard short-lived security logs such as IP address and request time. SongSketch itself adds no tracking identifiers.

Your choices

Export a JSON backup at any time. Clear the current sketch inside the app, or remove all local data through your browser’s site-data settings.
