Use of the tool

SongSketch is a free creative utility. You may use it to make, save, and export your own musical sketches. You remain responsible for what you create and share.

Your work

You keep all rights to your original compositions. SongSketch does not upload, claim, or license your project data.

No warranty

The software is provided “as is,” without warranties. Browser audio, MIDI import support, storage quotas, and downloadable file behavior can vary. Keep a JSON backup of work you cannot afford to lose.

Acceptable use

Do not use the hosted service to break the law, attack the service, or interfere with other people. Because the instrument runs locally, ordinary composition does not submit content to us.

Open-source license

The application source is available under the MIT License. These terms govern the hosted service; the repository license governs copying the software.
